At first glance, the Ouye is pretty much a PS4-like console with an Xbox One-like controller. The console and one controller will sell for around 70 dollars, so don’t be expecting too much from it. Although it shows a big picture of Assassin’s Creed III, there is doubt whether or not it’ll be able to handle such games.
The company says they spent “6 months on the unique design.” Go ahead, you can read that again, no one will blame you. Yes, they did specify “unique” design. And looking at the resemblance, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if the Ouye never saw the light of day. Microsoft and Sony could have something to say about that…

Foreign console ban finally lifted
Seeing as China recently stated the foreign console ban was to be lifted, it does not come as a surprise that Chinese companies are launching into such projects.
It will be a bit more powerful than the Ouya but the specs are a bit dated.

In January, the ban was “relaxed,” allowing console sales in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone as an experiment. In July, the 14-year-old ban was broken and foreign video game console sales are now allowed all over China.
